Wonder: Lessons from Startups applied in teaching

My conception of how to teach has drastically changed in my last 2 years as compared to my first two years. This is owed in large part due to just obsessively dabbling in creating new systems, structures, programs among others. This "book", still with many placeholder sections, is a work in progress that documents some of the reflections on this journey. Some are personal stories of growing up in a bicycle shop and learning digital marketing alongside basic workflow automation. Others include randomly bashing from running career exposure webinars to starting my own Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) career exposure 'superapp' for students during COVID after joining a full-stack bootcamp.

The journey was waacky and not all of it was fun and games. But I still remember what I was like what I first joined teaching - cover by Raffles Press - I wouldn't trade. Regardless of the changes, the 4 years were memorable and I hold dearly even as I transition to product operations in a tech environment today.

What Notion AI summary says:

This book provides a comprehensive exploration of how principles and practices from startup environments can be effectively applied in teaching. The author draws on their own experiences as a teacher and various experiences growing projects, programs and organisations to offer insights and strategies that can help educators better manage their relationships with students, develop high-quality teaching materials, and effectively manage their teams.

Note: this is still a work-in-progress so your soft-soft launch purchase today is 10k words from streams-of-consciousness with various placeholder sections. But fret not, it will come with the eventual PDF by hopefully Q4 2023.
